The Apex of Ancient Sound Craft.

Nine inches. Seven metals. Centuries of tradition. This is not simply a singing bowl — it is a ceremonial instrument of the highest order. At this size, forged from the sacred seven-metal alloy of Tibetan tradition, the sound produced is less a tone than a force — one that moves through walls, through bodies, and through the silence between thoughts.

About This Bowl

Hand-hammered by our master artisans in Lalitpur, Nepal, this 9" Jambati bowl is crafted from a rare seven-metal alloy — gold, silver, copper, iron, tin, lead, and zinc — each metal aligned with a celestial body in Tibetan cosmology, each contributing a unique vibrational layer to the bowl's complex acoustic signature. At this scale, the forging process is exceptionally demanding, requiring hours of precise hammer work to achieve the tonal balance this instrument demands.

Size: 9 inches (approx. 23 cm) diameter
Composition: Traditional 7-metal alloy (gold, silver, copper, iron, tin, lead, zinc)
Produces extraordinarily deep bass with rich, complex multi-octave harmonics
Jambati style — the ceremonial standard, now at its most powerful
Includes embroidered cushion, wooden striker, and suede mallet

Experience the Sound...

A single strike sends a wave of low-frequency sound rolling through the room like a tide — felt in the chest, the spine, the soles of the feet. Rim-play it and the seven metals reveal themselves one by one: a deep bronze warmth, a silver shimmer, an iron groundedness. The sustain at 9" is extraordinary — long, evolving, alive. Those present don't just hear it. They are held by it.
